Quebec will no longer recommend that people work from home above all other options, which means you may have to swap sweatpants — or no-pant zoom meetings — for actual office attire. Remember offices?

Arguably the biggest winner was Williams Carrière from la Montérégie, who woke up with an extra million dollars to their name this morning.

It's official — as of September 1, many non-essential events and places in the province will now require Quebec's vaccine passport upon entry.

But, if you're running around like a chicken without its head trying to figure out how everything works, know that the provincial government confirmed, "In order to allow time for operators or persons in charge of the affected sites and activities to adjust, a grace period is provided between September 1 and 15. During this period, the vaccination passport will be required, but no penalties will be applied to businesses and venues where the activities are held."

The pandemic has hit people in ways they may have never imagined before — and some more than others. A recent study conducted by Santé Montréal found that Montrealers' mental health was more affected by COVID-19 in Quebec than the rest of Quebecers.

"In February 2021, about 1 in 3 Montrealers who responded showed symptoms consistent with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) or probable depression, compared with about 1 in 5 respondents in the rest of Québec," the study stated.

As the day in which Quebec's vaccine passport is set to be implemented for some non-essential activities and places quickly approaches, the leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, Dominique Anglade, is asking François Legault to also implement mandatory vaccination for certain groups of people.

In a Facebook post, Anglade wrote, "I call on the Prime Minister to make vaccination mandatory for all employees of the government, the health and social services network, education, daycare facilities, the National Assembly and for all persons attending college and university campuses. People with medical reasons should be exempt from this measure."
