Quebec Is Threatening To Close Any Bar That Doesn't Follow Government Regulations
During the Government of Quebec's press conference on Monday, July 6, the Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, threatened to close any establishment that fails to properly follow government health regulations relating to the pandemic.
Dubé's message was specifically directed towards the owners of bars, terrasses, beaches, and public pools in the province.

"What we've seen during the last few days is unacceptable," Dubé said when referring to the "delinquents," as he called them, who have been frequenting Quebec bars since their reopenings "put[ting] the health of all Quebecers at risk."
The minister clearly stated that for "everyone in charge of venues where people gather, your responsibility is to ensure that public health directives are complied with."
Later this week, the government will announce ways in which such directives can be properly enforced.
