A flight from Montreal to Florence can take anywhere between nine to 13 hours. But if you don't see yourself hopping on a plane any time soon, then you can head to Colaneri Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This winery is just six and a half-hour drive from Montreal and makes you feel like you've stepped onto a gorgeous vineyard in Tuscany.

When you think of places with amazing wine, you probably think of a beautiful winery somewhere in Italy or even France.

But did you know that right here in Canada we have some incredible, world-class wine?

Colaneri Estate Winery was bought by Joseph and Maria Colaneri back in 1967 and is still run by the Colaneri family today.

The building is built in the shape of a "C," not just to honour the family name, but to take in the views from every angle.

And trust me, the views are as endless as the wine supply.

Built-in the Romanesque style, it's not just a homage to Italy, but a gorgeous landmark of the passion and tradition that is the winery.

Seriously, if you've ever stepped foot in a village in Tuscany, or have even just looked up photos of the region, you'll know we're telling the truth about this place being the real Italian deal.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering about the wine, itself.

The collection has all the popular wines that you know and love, like pinot grigio, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon and merlot.

You can also get specialty wines, like icewine, which is popular in the Niagara region.

The winery is currently offering wine tastings by appointment that includes a 45-minute tasting for up to four people with five wines for $20 per person.

Plus you'll get a spectacular view of the 40-acre estate.

You could also join la famiglia by signing up for the wine club, offering insider access and some amazing discounts.

If you happen to be in Toronto, it's just a one hour and 40-minute drive, plus it's just a 12-minute drive to the Falls — making it the perfect day-trip.

See you in "Tuscany!"
