There's nothing quite like summer in the city: gorgeous weather, drinks on the terrasse and seeing the city at its most beautiful. And when you head to a Montreal rooftop terrasse, you get the best of all three. Because after a long winter, we all deserve to take in the beauty that of the season with a drink in hand.

The best part is that there's so much to see. Whether it's the river, Old Montreal, or the city, itself, we're never at a loss for amazing sites all over the island.

Whenever there's a visitor in town, I always send them straight to a rooftop to take in the views. Everybody knows that if the locals go there, too it must be worth it.

Because we've been having pretty hot weather so far this summer, something tells me we're in for some more heat throughout the summer.

The perfect excuse to head to your favourite rooftop.

But why stop there? Like I said, there are so many options, not just for views, but for drinks, too.

So take advantage of the summer while you can and take a look at these seven spots to sip and see the city.
