Friday, June 11, marks the long-awaited return of Montreal bar terrasses —  an integral part of the city's summer culture. There will be a limit of two adults from different addresses per table, however.

Even more reopenings are on the horizon as Montreal prepares to enter the yellow zone.

As of Monday, June 14, bars will also be able to seat customers inside.

But they'll have to maintain a 50% capacity limit, keep a sign-in sheet for customers, stop selling alcohol at 11 p.m. and close at midnight, among other rules.

Customers will also have to stay seated and resist the urge to sing or dance. Only residents from two addresses can share a table.

Also on Monday, small private indoor gatherings will be allowed (with restrictions).
