Small Indoor Gatherings Will Be Allowed In Montreal As Of Next Week — With Restrictions

The city is moving into the yellow zone soon! ✨✨✨
Contributing Writer

Premier François Legault provided the province with some extremely exciting news during a press conference on Tuesday, including the fact that limited indoor gatherings in Montreal will be allowed again as of Monday, June 14.

This is because Montreal, along with various other Quebec regions, will become a yellow zone as of Monday, June 14.

But this news, of course, has regulations that come with it. According to the government's website, "Indoor gatherings are limited to the occupants of 2 households" for regions in the yellow zone.

Outdoors, a maximum of eight people from different households (or from two households) can gather in private home areas like yards and balconies.

Bars will also be allowed to reopen on Monday, June 14, and bar terrasses in Montreal can open as of Friday, June 11.
