With so much constantly changing as 2020 continues to throw us curveballs, it can be hard to keep up with what is and isn't coming back this summer. Luckily, some important things will be making a return. MTL Blog can now confirm that the sheep you may have seen roaming around one of Montreal's parks in the past will be back again for their fifth year.\nThe sheep, like Chalette that you'll meet below, will be roaming around in Parc Maisonneuve from July 6 to September 20.\nHowever, for the safety of the animals and their new human friends, organizers are asking that the sheep not be touched and that people maintain two metres of social distancing.\nBecause, we're told, that the sheep aren't fans of having to take Purell baths. Understandable.\nThat said, the non-stop sheep fun is in order for the animals' annual visit to Parc Maisonneuve.\nThis is all thanks to Biquette, a non-profit organization who, "through the presence of animals in the city..., wish to contribute to the education of the general public on environmental and societal issues," according to its Facebook page.\nSo, expect to see a few extra animal crossings this summer.\nChalette est heureuse de pouvoir enfin vous annoncer le retour des moutons de Biquette au Parc Maisonneuve cet été.\nElle...Posted by Biquette on Monday, June 15, 2020\nFor those wondering about the sheep's health and safety, both during the event and throughout the year, you'll be happy to know that the sheep, like people, can roam freely throughout the park.\n"All our animals are treated with great care and love and are not exploited in any way," Biquette promises.\nFor those looking to hang out with the adorable creatures and are looking to get involved, stay tuned for volunteer opportunities.\nIs there any better way to spend your time?\nView this post on Instagram Notre beau Ti-Guy qui, tel un aspirateur, nettoie le chemin en se gâtant dans les pétales de fleurs! 😍🌼 #biquettemtl #montreal #rosepatrie #biquetteaujardin #jardinbotaniquedemontreal #mouton #sheep #sheeplove #ecopaturage #agricultureurbaine #ecograzing #urbanagriculture #welovesheep #sheepsofinstagram #lambscaping #🐑 A post shared by Biquette (@biquettemontreal) on Jun 20, 2019 at 12:13pm PDT\nTo learn more about Biquette and to meet all of your newest furry friends, head to their Facebook and Instagram pages.\nSheep in Parc Maisonneuve\nView this post on Instagram On vous présente Mico!
