Environment Canada has issued a number of special weather statements ahead of an expectedthis weekend.

Montreal, meanwhile, might only get up to of snow. But it might not last.
Environment Canada says "the snow could be interrupted by a period of rain late Saturday" in the metropolis and in regions south of the Saint Lawrence.
The weather agency's forecast for the city shows temperatures between 1 and 3 C on Saturday and 0 and -9 C on Sunday.
