One Of Montreal's Biggest Clubs Plans To Start Accepting Bitcoin As Payment Next Year

On May 11, the owner of Montreal's Beachclub, Olivier Primeau let his Instagram followers know about a big update regarding how the club will be accepting payments in the future.

"Beachclub will officially be the first club in Canada to accept Bitcoin and ethereum as payment methods," the owner wrote.

Primeau confirmed with MTL Blog that it's true, saying it's in the club's plan for "next year."

Beachclub is still working out the logistics of how accepting these two cryptocurrencies as payment will work, but Primeau said "there are several platforms" that would allow for such.
