Imagine if joking and dreaming about winning the lottery turned out to be real? That's what happened to two friends in Sept-Îles who didn't know they were the winners of an unclaimed million-dollar prize in an April Québec Max draw.

Upon learning that Loto-Québec was looking for the winning ticket holder(s), Sophie Racine-Langis and Kim P Bond "began teasing each other via text message," reads a news release. "The two friends joked and made plans, but had no idea that they were the winners."

They plan to spend their winnings on a new car, travel, renovations and investments.
