It seems Montreal weather has suddenly turned a corner. Forecasts show mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper teens from Monday to Thursday.

As of Monday morning, the Weather Network's seven-day forecast shows temperatures around 15 and 16 C between Monday and Wednesday before reaching a delightful 18 C on Thursday.

Environment Canada, for its part, predicts consistent peak temperatures between 15 C and 16 C in the same time period, save for a dip to 12 C on Wednesday.

But Montrealers should savour it while they can. The Weather Network sees rain possibly beginning Thursday and continuing through the weekend.

The outlook for Environment Canada is grimmer. The federal weather agency is forecasting "periods of snow or rain" on Saturday.
