Asked Thursday about when he plans to present Quebec's reopening plan, Premier François Legault suggested it could be a matter of weeks.

The premier also said he asked Minister of Health Christian Dubé to model the province's plan on Saskatchewan's recently released three-step "reopening roadmap," though he made clear Quebec's would likely include more criteria.

Legault said the reopening plan would be comprehensive, going "all the way" rather than offering short-term guidance for partial reopenings.

"What I would like to be able to tell Quebecers is what's coming up in June, July, August — when we'll be able to return to normal life," he said.

Meanwhile, the City of Montreal already has its eye on the future, hoping for a June 1 reopening of terrasses, pending public health approval.
