People Will Be Protesting In Panties In Front Of UQAM This Week & Here's Why
This Thursday, April 8, a protest will be held in front of Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) "in support of Hélène Boudreau," a graduate from the school who is currently facing a legal battle "for the inappropriate use of the University's name and logo in connection with intimate photos."
In a Facebook post, one of the organizers wrote, "We invite all people from all backgrounds, all genders, to come and support the movement... but above all to people who wish to abolish the patriarchal institutions of our society."

While the event is title "À l'UQAM en bobettes," which loosely translates to "Going To UQAM in Panties" in English, you can attend the protest in absolutely anything.
"You come dressed as you want. We want you to be 100% comfortable. It means that you come topless, in your most beautiful negligee or turtleneck, as you wish," a post on the Facebook event reads.
The protest begins at 4 p.m.* on Thursday "at the corner of Saint-Denis and Maisonneuve, in front of UQAM."
