Food In Montreal: A Bubble Tea Robot, Brunch Specials & New Tim Hortons Wrap
The future of snacking is now. 🧋

A robot arm holds a pink and orange bubble tea. Right: Two people cheers cocktails during brunch.
This week in Montreal, the food scene got some exciting updates with a dash of technology, a sprinkle of morning-after magic, and a spicy new contender on the fast food front.
Here are some of the highlights:
ÜTea
A bubble tea from the automatic ÜTea dispenser.
Montreal just got a bit more futuristic with a new bubble tea-making robot that's making the rounds, recently spotted on rue St-Laurent. The mobile ÜTea dispenser can whip up a boba drink in a matter of minutes, available 24/7, at $6.79 a pop.
It mixes, seals, and delivers the drinks through a window for easy pickup. Flavours include taro, mango, peach, Thai milk, and more.

A&W's latest menu addition, the Spicy Piri-Piri Buddy Burger, spices things up for $3.99 each, available for a limited time. This burger comes with a kick of piri piri sauce and offers choices between chicken, beef, or a unique potato patty, topped with lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
The potato version nods to a popular hack by employees and guests, particularly from the South-Asian community, turning it into an official menu item. We taste-tested all three and one was a surprise winner.
Brunchs en Lumière
Montréal en Lumière is spicing up this year's festival with a new brunch component the morning after Nuit Blanche. Special menus will be served at 25 restaurants on March 3, giving partiers a unique morning-after experience.
Options range from interactive kitchen access at the Casino de Montréal and a lavish spread at Arthur's Nosh Bar to tea time at Janine Café or live music and unlimited mimosas at Stanley. Due to the expected popularity of the event, early reservations are advised. For a list of all the participating locations, check out the details here.
Tim Hortons
Tims' Sweet Chili Chicken is the latest Loaded Wrap and Loaded Bowl flavour.

Tim Hortons added Sweet Chili Chicken to its menu, expanding its range of Loaded Wraps and Bowls. The new option joins Cilantro Lime and Habanero Chicken options, featuring a combination of sweet, savoury, and spicy tastes.
The wrap includes ingredients like lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cucumbers, and comes with a choice of crispy or slow-cooked chicken, with a vegetarian option available.
