Art Chaos, a new venture in Montreal's Mile End, is putting a fresh spin on the traditional sip-and-paint concept. You can splash paint on a canvas and give it a whirl to create unexpected decor during a date or on a night out with friends. The studio plans to add drinks to the mix, so you can unwind while stimulating both your palate and… palette.

Of course, the main attraction is the high-speed spin art method. You splash or drizzle paint onto a canvas, then watch it spin at 60 MPH, transforming your splatters into intricate designs. The process is visually captivating and offers a hands-on art experience that is accessible, regardless of artistic skill.

Studio packages are tailored to different group sizes and preferences. The Classic package, priced at $35 per person, includes a 60-minute session for up to four people, providing paint, tools, protection, and a spin station.

For those planning an outing with a larger circle, the Small Group option accommodates 12 to 24 people at $40 per person, while the Party package allows for groups of 24 to 50, starting at $20 per person plus a rental fee.

Art Chaos is located inside a restaurant, promising the integration of food and drinks. Currently, the studio emphasizes the art experience, complete with guidance from staff. Guests are advised to dress for a potentially messy adventure but are provided with aprons and gloves for protection.

The studio's setup encourages experimentation and fun, with each participant receiving a practice canvas to try out different techniques. The final artwork is theirs to take home, with the option to purchase additional canvases.

Booking is mandatory with a deposit required. Once the art session is over, guests should allow 30 minutes for the canvas to dry. Reservations are open for at least 2 people, but solo visits are possible. The deposit for online booking is equivalent to the price of one person's entry before taxes, with the remainder payable on-site.

Art Chaos may be the right balance of fun and flair for those looking to add a splash of creativity to their night out.
