Get excited my fellow beer lovers. The Montreal brewery Brasseurs Sans Gluten just won the Beer of the Year for its Glutenberg Red at the 18th Annual Canadian Brewing Awards on Saturday, September 12.

The beer also took the gold prize in the Gluten-Free Beer category. Another one of the breweries beers, Glutenberg Gose, took bronze in the same category.

Brewing tasty and bold gluten-free beers.

Other categories in the competition include those based on style, flavour and ingredients.

Winners were determined by a blind taste test. All judges are Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP)-certified.

The gluten-free microbrewery offers a range of nine gluten-free beers, as well as one non-alcoholic beer-style beverage.

In total, Quebec breweries took home 25 medals, plus the Beer of the Year. Big props to la belle province.
