Laval's First SQDC Store Confirmed Its Opening Date & It's In Time For 4/20

Get ready!
Reporter

The opening date for Laval's first Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) store has finally been confirmed — and it will be open in time for 4/20.

Located in the Sainte-Dorothée district, near Highway 13 in the 250-B building of Mega Centre Notre-Dame, Narcity Québec reported that the store will open on March 19.

A second Laval SQDC location is also set to open this summer in the Chomedey neighbourhood. According to Narcity Québec, the second store will be located at 2160, boul. des Laurentides.

The new locations mark the SQDC's 65th and 66th cannabis dispensaries in Quebec.

There are currently eight SQDC locations on the Island of Montreal. By 2023, the SQDC plans to have cannabis shops in 98 municipalities across Quebec.

While the SQDC has not yet put up job postings for the new locations in Laval, you can still send in your resume through an online form if you want to work in the new boutiques.

Narcity does not condone the overconsumption of alcohol or other legal substances. If you are going to drink alcohol or consume cannabis, please do so responsibly and only if you’re of legal age.
