Laval's PoutineFest Is Coming Up This Week & It's 100% Worth The Drive To The 450

#WillTravelToLavalForPoutine.
Reporter

Laval, to many people's surprise, has a lot of incredible places to check out. And this weekend, you have yet another excuse to take a drive to the 450 because PoutineFest is taking place there. This will be the first edition of Laval's Grand PoutineFest and it'll be happening from September 10 to 13 in the Centre Laval parking lot.

To keep everyone safe, you'll be able to enjoy the festivities from the comfort of your car.

One of the festival's representatives told MTL Blog that "the event's car route ensured that all poutine lovers will be entertained from start to finish."

The participating restaurants include Smoking BBQ, Charlie’s Shack, Cantine chez Henri, Greg’s Dinner, and others.

Not only will you be able to munch on tasty poutines from the above-mentioned restaurants, but you'll be able to shake it (from inside your car) to the sounds of DJ Kleancut and enjoying the performances of circus athletes.

"Under no circumstances customers will be allowed to leave their cars - the PoutineFest employees will pick up their order from the different food trucks and deliver it to their window."

All employees will be wearing both masks and visors and there will also be waterless disinfectant soap stations available for them.

Guests will be able to pay by credit and debit the electronic payment terminal that will be attached to a stick to keep a distance between the customer and the employees.

The menu will be available by QR code and will be displayed in the order taking section.

So, it's quick, simple and safe!

There won't be any washrooms available for use, which means you should try to refrain from drinking too many liquids.

It's also going to be forbidden to park on-site to eat.

There are very few Quebecers who don't appreciate decadent poutine, which is why I know people are getting excited to head to the 450 for this week's PoutineFest.
