Weeks after Lorde dropped a surprise track, "Solar Power," in tandem with the only visible solar eclipse of 2021, the singer has announced that she will be performing in Montreal as part of the 2022 Solar Power world tour.

The North American leg of the tour is the first for Lorde in more than three years, kicking off in April 2022.

On August 20, Lorde is expected to release her album, which bears the same name as her single, Solar Power.

According to evenko, Lorde said the upcoming album is "a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalizing the deep, transcendent feelings [she has] when [she's] outdoors."

The Montreal show will be at Salle Wilfrid Pelletier in Place des Arts on April 7, 2022.

Tickets for the 2022 concert go on sale on June 25.
