I think it's safe to say that after the year that we've all had, we all deserve a little break. A little pampering. A little escape. Alright, maybe a big one. I can't even bear it! But if we can't head too far away, we can at least leave all of our troubles behind at Polar Bear's Club. 

This nordic spa just an hour from Montreal is as majestic as the animal that it's named after.

Located along the Simon River in the Saint-Sauveur Valley, its surroundings in the breathtaking Laurentians make it even more incredible

The spa is open year-round Thursday to Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Polar Bear's Club offers a variety of baths and Finnish sauna baths, Turkish steam baths, outdoor hot tubs, Nordic baths, the Simon River.

There are also registered massage therapists that offer services, including a Swedish massage and a hot shell massage.

Rates start at $60 plus tax for access to the baths, which includes a bathrobe, a towel and a lock.

There are no reservations for those who are just looking for bath access, so it's best to come early or to call ahead to see how busy the facilities are. 

You can also buy packages that include massages from $130 plus tax and it's recommended that you call beforehand to book your treatment.

When you're not diving into baths, you'll probably be diving into the amazing food at the onsite bistro. 

Chef Fabrice Coutanceau and the team at "La Cuisine Spontanée" cater incredibly delicious, yet healthy plates and you can even pair it with some beer or wine. 

Of course, Polar Bear's Club's number one priority is the health and safety of guests and staff.

Everyone is asked to maintain two metres of distance and the wearing of masks indoors is mandatory. 

Hand sanitization stations have also been set up and limits in all of the baths and saunas have been set.
