Outdoor Festivals Will Be Allowed In Quebec This June

But there will be a limit on how many people can attend.

In a May 18 press conference, Premier François Legault confirmed the province's three-stage reopening plan for bars, restaurants, sports and festivals in Quebec.

As of June 25, in all Quebec regions, festivals without seating sections will be allowed for up to 2,500 attendees.

The Montreal International Jazz Festival announced earlier this month that it would be returning to Montreal from September 15 to 19.

However, Osheaga has postponed its festivities until summer 2022.

Legault said that the province hopes that the majority of regions in Quebec will be designated COVID-19 green zones by June 28.
