The pandemic may have slowed down some businesses, but the Kaufman Group with Sotheby's International Realty Canada is on fire. Like, selling Quebec's most expensive condo in history type fire.

At $12,900,000, the gorgeous 6,979-square-foot penthouse at de la Montagne and Sherbrooke became the highest-selling condo on Centris ever in the province, according to the team. And it is absolutely gorgeous.

Dubbed the "Rockstar," this unit is everything you'd imagine from a scene in a movie: floor to ceiling windows, 20-foot high ceilings and an incredible view of the Golden Square Mile, the mountain and the museum.

"I was the original listing broker for the project about ten years ago," says Liza Kaufman, founder of Sotheby's International Realty Quebec. "It was my favourite of all of the penthouses."

And if you don't think there's enough space inside, you can head outside for almost 2,000 square feet of outdoor terrasse.

Despite the fact that it's got a state-of-the-art kitchen, it's also got a caterer entrance, where you can get service from Maison Bulud and the Ritz-Carlton, plus a private area for catering services. Talk about rockstar treatment!

As for how a massive sale was pulled off in the pandemic, "It was all done via FaceTime," says Kaufman. "I was not in the apartment, they weren't in the apartment."

Just goes to show that the market is still hot and that even a pandemic can't stop a team on a mission.
