The Food At This Iconic Montreal Terrasse Is So Pretty You Might Miss The View

The perfect outdoor spot for your next 5 à 7.
Contributing Writer

Like so many of our favourite Montreal terrasses, we've had to wait patiently for their doors to reopen their doors. While some establishments have already opened, others have chosen to wait for the right time. Well, I'm excited to tell you that for Terrasse Naracat, that time is now.

That's right, this Thursday, July 23, Nacarat will be open for business yet again.

UPDATE: Nacarat has postponed its opening indefinitely.

Of course, with health and safety protocols in place, including spaced out tables and staff wearing masks at all times. The bar will also be available by reservation only, either through the hotel or on OpenTable.

Currently, only the outdoor terrasse is open and the indoor bar will remain closed.

But you can still get gorgeous cocktails, bottle service, wine, and beer, as well as some small plates.

Located on the third floor of the iconic Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in downtown Montreal, Naracat offers an incredible view of the city that just can't be beat.

According to the website, "The atmosphere draws its inspiration from the fusion between the glam rock era of Ziggy Stardust and the modernity of the 21st century. Sensual and sophisticated, the bar transcends an electrifying energy.

"Behind the counter, artists master liquids as chefs do with food."

It's definitely a popular spot for both locals and tourists. In fact, it was ranked number 31 on this year's Canada's Top 100 bars.

The bar will be open on Thursday and Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m.

You'll also need to wear a mask when inside the hotel.

The team at Nacarat and all of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel is excited to welcome you back and whether it's a 5 à 7 or a day of drinking in the sun, you're in good hands.

See you at Nacarat!
