Remember in-person concerts?!
Montreal is filled with talented artists and performers. Lucky for us, some of them will be showcasing their work at What The Pop!, a series of free pop-up art events running for the next four Saturdays, starting this weekend.
Presented by YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, a non-profit that provides English-language support services to Quebec job seekers, entrepreneurs, and artists, What The Pop! will highlight more than 50 emerging artists over the course of a month.
The first three weekends will be an art exhibition at Centre St Jax and the final day of the event will feature live musical performances at Riverside. There's also a virtual art gallery if you prefer to keep your participation online.
There will be artwork and prints for sale on site.
The best part is all proceeds go directly to the artists, each having had sales and marketing training before the event so they can make the most of it. Pretty amazing considering the year these artists have had!
Admission is free, and the chance to see these spectacular artists doing what they love best is absolutely priceless.
What The Pop!
