New COVID-19 Cases In Quebec Surpassed 200 In The Latest Report

On Friday, the government reported 219 new COVID-19 cases in Quebec for a total of 64,463 since the beginning of the health crisis.

It's the third time in six days that new cases surpassed 200.

The government has also updated its breakdown of new cases by region, showing that on September 10 they were concentrated in Bas-Saint-Laurent, the Capitale-Nationale, Estrie, Montreal, Outaouais, Chaudière-Appalaches, and Montérégie.

219 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Quebec

Also on Friday, Quebec issued a ban on karaoke in bars and began requiring bars to log all customers who enter their establishments.

"This practice, which was already encouraged, aims to further facilitate the identification of contacts by public health authorities in the event of contamination," the Ministry of Health said.
