As Montreal comes to the slow acceptance that summer is over, we're looking to how many more days we can spend outside until our infamous freezing winter hits us.

What will the beginning of October feel like in Montreal?
There's nothing quite like that brisk, fall air. Week one will feel "crispy" as the cool kids say, but you'll definitely be able to head outside.
According to The Weather Network, October 1 will be the warmest welcome to the new month with a high of 16 and will drop down to 10 at night. There's also about a 60% chance of showers, so be sure to whip out your rain boots.
The rest of the week has some chances of rain will feel like it's between the 12-15 degree range in the day and drop down to about 8-9 degrees at night. The lowest evening will be on Saturday when it drops to 7 degrees.
Will Montreal be warm during the long weekend in October?
The second week will see a wide range of temperatures and conditions.
Ranging from 13-17 degrees, the second week looks like it'll make for some really pleasant weather and not too much chance of rain. Perfect for exploring the city, seeing some leaves and maybe snapping a few pics.

Montreal Weather Usually Gets A Little Chillier By The End Of October
It's still a bit early to get a clear forecast of the rest of October, but it's no surprise to anyone that the end of the month is usually a tad cooler than the first half.
The Weather Network gives historical averages based on 1980-2010 for the last two weeks of the month.
Looks like we've seen temperatures in the 9-14 degree range, dropping down to about 3-4 degrees at night.
Who doesn't have vivid memories of having the most epic Halloween costume and having to cover it with your coat?
And if you're wondering, the coldest October day recorded was -6.7 degrees back on October 27, 1936.
