Quebec City is known for its food, culture and history, and some of the best hotels across the globe. In fact, two Quebec City hotels were ranked among the most stunning in Canada.

Travel + Leisure dropped its 2024 World's Best Awards covering travel, lifestyle and hospitality across the world. When it came to the best of the best hotels in Canada, Quebec City snagged two spots on the list.

Travel + Leisure readers were asked to weigh in on travel experiences across the world and share opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruises, spas and so much more.

Over 186,000 readers completed the 2024 survey. A total of more than 700,000 votes were cast across over 8,700 properties. As for hotels, they were specifically rated on criteria including rooms/facilities, location, service, food and value.

The St. Regis in Toronto (95.2), the Fairmont Empress in Vancouver (94.61) and the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver (94.25), all made the top three.

So, which two Quebec City hotels made the cut?

Landing seventh overall was the Auberge Saint-Antoine, which received a score of 92. As a member of the Relais & Châteaux association of international luxury hotels, this establishment boasts numerous exceptional amenities perfect for romance and relaxation.

Located on Îlot Hunt, beneath the historic fortifications of Old Québec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers stunning views of the Saint Lawrence River.

Rounding off the top 10 was the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, which received a score of 89.78. Considered a must-see when visiting Quebec City, the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is the most photographed hotel in the world, proving it a worthy entry on the Travel + Leisure ranking.
