Planning your next getaway? You don't have to travel far to stay at one of Canada's best resorts.

The U.S. edition of Condé Nast Traveler was just ranked among the 'Top 10 Resorts in Canada' as part of its Readers’ Choice Awards 2024 and one Quebec spot — just a 90-minute drive from Montreal — made the cut.

Based on a staggering 575,048 votes in Condé Nast's 37th annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey, in which readers voted on their favourite resort destinations across the country, the Fairmont Tremblant in Mont Tremblant is the second-best resort nationwide.

The esteemed Quebec resort, which received an overall score of 97.33, made a strong standing in the top three alongside the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler (#1) and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler (#3).

Tremblant was the only Quebec destination to make the list.

The Fairmont Tremblant is a luxury ski-in ski-out hotel that's "perfectly located at the foot of the majestic Tremblant peaks," according to its website. It offers a wide range of activities, including access to biking and hiking in the surrounding Laurentian Mountains in the warmer months and — of course — skiing in the winter months. There's also a spa, fitness centre and aquatic centre.

Here's the full list of this year's best resorts:
  1. Four Seasons Resort and Residences – Whistler, B.C.
  2. Fairmont Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
  3. Fairmont Chateau – Whistler, B.C.
  4. Cabot Cape Breton – Inverness, Nova Scotia
  5. Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa – Osoyoos, B.C.
  6. Nita Lake Lodge – Whistler, B.C.
  7. Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge – Jasper, Alberta
  8. The Westin Resort & Spa – Whistler, B.C.
  9. Long Beach Lodge Resort – Tofino, B.C.
  10. Brentwood Bay Resort – Brentwood Bay, B.C.
