Montrealers gathered at Parc Jeanne-Mance, as well as around the monument to Sir George-Étienne Cartier in Parc du Mont-Royal, on the afternoon of July 1 to support Indigenous communities at #CancelCanadaDay events in Montreal.

The gatherings aimed to support Indigenous communities by honouring the lives of Indigenous children, demanding justice and denouncing genocide.

Start your engines! Race driver Alex Tagliani has posted new progress shots of the enormous go-kart structure coming to Sainte-Thérèse on the North Shore.

The TAG E-karting & Amusement Centre will feature a three-level, indoor course that Tagliani says will be the first of its kind in Canada, and it looks like something straight out of Mario Kart.

Monoliths — defined by Merriam-Webster as a single great stone often in the form of an obelisk or column — have been appearing in random places around the world from Utah to Romania, California to B.C.

There's a new restaurant to check out in downtown Montreal. It’s a Korean hot dog place that’s serving up your favourite street food with a twist. MTL Blog’s Alex Melki headed out to learn what it’s all about at Chung Chun Rice Dog’s Montreal grand opening.

To celebrate the new eatery, located near Concordia University's downtown campus at 1418 rue Pierce, hot dogs were on sale for the low-low price of $2.99 on opening day, November 25, though there’s a limit of two per customer.

The internet was hit with some extremely sad news today. Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek passed away on November 8, at the age of 80.

Thousands of his fans have been paying tribute to him by posting messages about the influence he had on them. Including Ryan Reynolds, who described Trebek as "gracious and funny. In addition to being curious, stalwart, generous, reassuring and of course, Canadian."

And in some internet users' tributes, they bring up the fact that they remember watching the Rugrats episode where Trebek does the voiceover for the character Alan Quebec, which you can watch below.
