Because it can never be too early to start a party, Igloofest is bringing back its free festive gatherings every Saturday afternoon, from January 21 to February 11, 2023. You can attend Igloofête gratis from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., just before party animals take over Quai Jacques Cartier at the Old Port for Montreal's coldest music festival.

The four events will welcome Montrealers of all ages, as long as they're brave enough to face the icy temps. Three local electronic DJs will entertain the crowd each Saturday, in an immersive multimedia setup featuring kids' drawings mixed live by a VJ. The lineup for Igloofête has yet to be announced.

You dressed warm and braved the icy temps to finally dance at Igloofest after too many pandemic-related postponements, so you deserve some additional all-nighting partying. For its 2023 edition, the festival is hosting after-parties at the Auberge Saint-Gabriel, Center PHI, Francesco’s, Soubois and the Société des arts technologiques (SAT).

Igloofest has announced a total of 27 "Après-Ski" events, promising a "surge of good beats [that will] keep rolling all night long!" They will take place between January 20 and February 11.

Winter is coming, but in the 514, party animals don't hibernate! After many setbacks related to pandemic restrictions, Montreal's Igloofest will finally return to the Old Port from January 19 to February 11, 2023. Passes for the 15th edition of Quebec's coldest music festival are now on sale, so Montrealers should get the freezing festivities they deserve this time around.

So, who's on the lineup? The full program has not been announced yet, but we already know that two separate music shows will take place on February 4 and 11. Those dates were announced last winter but the concerts had to be postponed to the 2023 edition.

Sad news for all music festival lovers in the city. After the announcements of the provincewide curfew, the closure of restaurant dining rooms and indoor gatherings being prohibited, it's now the winter festival Igloofest Montreal's turn to report its cancellation for this year's edition.

In an Instagram story on December 30, following François Legault's 5 p.m. press conference, Igloofest announced that the event usually held in the Old Port of Montreal will not be able to receive festivalgoers this winter due to new health measures.
