Anyone up for strawberry picking in Montreal? Considering we all love agood basket of strawberries, why not get your hands on some delish berries this summer for a refreshing start to the season?

While we can get a little unlucky at the grocery store or market. So instead of inspecting every basket of strawberries (like we all do) why not pick your own!

Near the greater Montreal areas, there are multiple farms that offer strawberry picking! So, why not grab your S/O, bestie, or heck, even go solo if you're that much of a strawberry lover and start pickin' away.

La Ferme Quinn

Price: Weekdays: $8 per person (over 2 years old), Weekends: $10 per person (over 2 years old). Additional cost for strawberries. Reservations are required in advance.

They also provide strawberry fields that are ready for picking where you can enjoy the high time of strawberry picking with your favourite people and while you don't need a reservation, the farm suggests calling in advance to make sure there's place.

Why You Should Go: Fraisebec is best known for its strawberries as they are strictly a strawberry-producing farm. They have a large variety of strawberries that range from those summer strawberries to fall strawberries. They are only 30 minutes away from Montreal!

Why You Should Go: Anse au Sable has been running since 1980 and focuses on fresh fruit with great service. They have strawberry picking from mid-June to mid-July and also sell great homemade products. They got freshness down packed and you should really check them out for some of their great strawberries.

Why You Should Go: Don't stress if you missed the strawberry picking season at the other farms! Ferme Roland Cloutier offers strawberry picking from June until September. They have big juicy strawberries that are always ready to be picked! So come and enjoy the sunset over the farm as you admire the strawberry fields while enjoying some nice fresh strawberries.


Les Fraises Louis Hébert

Why You Should Go: For over 50 years, Les Fraises Louis Hébert has been picking strawberries amongst many other fruits that they grow. They said that if the warm weather continues, we should all be able to start picking strawberries by June. They have over 25 acres of land andseven types of strawberries; Sable, Kent, Clé des champs, Chambly, Glooscap, Jewel, and Bounty. I strongly recommend them! So get ready to pick those strawberries!

Why You Should Go: Strawberries are their specialty! They have been growing strawberries for over 20 years and they have over 1000 strawberry plants. They are open every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are ready to help you pick strawberries during all of June.
