Blake Lively is in Montreal and she's loving these 2 local spots so far
One donut shop has become her "entire personality."

A box of donuts. Right: Actress Blake Lively.
Blake Lively is in Montreal and she's already become a fan of two local spots.
You may know the actress from her leading roles in Gossip Girl, A Simple Favor and The Age of Adaline.
The reason for Lively's visit has not yet been confirmed, but her husband, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, is reportedly shooting a movie called Mayday in the Montreal area right now. Reynolds was spotted at former prime minister Brian Mulroney's funeral at the Notre-Dame Basilica on March 23.

In an Instagram story posted Tuesday morning, Lively shared a photo of a box full of Bernie Beigne donuts with the caption, "@berniebeigne has become my entire personality."
She then posted a second image in which more of the donuts were eaten — a giant apple fritter in hand — that reads "Send help."

In a third Instagram story, Lively is seen visiting Café Alphabet which has become famous for its viral bright pink and green Freddo matcha beverage called the 'Freddo Amour.'
"@alphabet.cafe to top it off. Because instagram is my generation's Zagat," she writes, referencing The Zagat Survey, a formerly popular restaurant ratings guidebook.

Café Alphabet co-owner Tony Argiropoulos told MTL Blog via Instagram that Lively ordered every Freddo drink on their menu. A Freddo, by the way, is a type of Greek coffee beverage served with cold frothed milk.
"[Blake Lively] said she has been meaning to come. She saw us on Insta and this was her first stop [...] She was really kind. We respected her privacy, spoke to her a bit, explained about our companies, the meaning of the Freddo and what it means to us and our culture," Argiropoulos said. He and his brother, with whom he owns the café, are of Greek origin.
Before leaving, Lively put a "Freddo Culture" sticker on her phone and was gifted one of the café's "Greek Dancing caps," Argiropoulos said.
This is Café Alphabet's second celebrity visit of the week. On Monday, the café was visited by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who both sipped on Freddo cappuccinos. Prime Minister Trudeau called it "the best coffee I've had all year."
Café Alphabet and Bernie Beigne are located right across the street from each other in the Mile End by the corner of rue Bernard O. and rue Clark. The two businesses have collaborated in the past, naming the combo of a coffee from Café Alphabet and a donut from Bernie Beigne "Le Mile End Special."
