If you were hoping to hit up the cinemas more often this year, then Cineplex has got you covered with cheap flicks and concessions.

Cineplex announced that they will be offering five-dollar movies and popcorn every single Tuesday throughout the month of February.

So, that means you can catch a movie and enjoy Cineplex' iconic popcorn for only $10, plus tax — what is it the 90s again? No, seriously. The last time a movie cost $5 was over 25 years ago, Cineplex said in a press release.

"As the country's top entertainment destination, we are delighted to give Canadians more reasons to come in from the cold to experience movie magic with friends and family this February," said Sara Moore, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Cineplex.

The Cineplex deal includes a general admission movie ticket for Tuesday's showtimes to any movie for $5, plus tax. Obviously, no movie is complete without popcorn, and you can get your hands on a small bag for the same price.

It's important to note that any Cineplex tickets purchased online will be subject to an online booking fee of up to $1.50 per ticket, plus tax. Standard upcharges for premium experiences will also apply. This offer is not valid for non-feature film and Event Cinema presentations.

Furthermore, all Scene+ members will continue to receive an additional 10% off the ticket price for their Tuesday ticket purchase, so you're really paying $4.50 for a movie.

For those hoping to be able to grab some $5 popcorn off of Uber Eats, Skip or DoorDash, the Cineplex deal will not be available via food delivery apps.
