What's better than Sunday Funday in Montreal? A Sunday Funday in Montreal that includes free fried chicken

On September 27, Olivia’s Authentic Chicken will be hosting a "Free chicken day," meaning they'll be giving away individual portions of boneless fried chicken between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. while quantities last.

According to the restaurant's comments on its Instagram post, there will be a line-up outside and the amount will be similar to what's pictured — about 100 grams.

The regular menu at Olivia's Authentic Chicken includes both boneless and bone-in fried chicken, as well as several house-made dipping sauces: honey mustard, sweet & spicy, garlic soya, green onion soya and snowflake.

For dessert, you'll want to try the mochi — sweet Japanese rice cakes — which they have in numerous flavours including chocolate hazelnut, pistachio and cherry truffle. It's lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.

If you can't make it to "Free chicken day," it's worth going back on a different day and paying for your food.

Google reviewers called it "the best fried chicken in Montreal," "My new obsession" and "THE BEST chicken I've ever had!"

Olivia's is located at 6563, avenue Somerled in Cote des Neiges - Notre Dame de Grace. It's also available for delivery on DoorDash, Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes.
