The owner, who goes by Julie, told MTL Blog that she used to paint on canvas and has always loved baking.

"That's why I decided to combine both my passions and create edible art," she said.

She's written on Instagram about taking inspiration from backyard trees, vintage trinkets, and flowers, as well as Iranian pottery, tile art and architecture.

She started her business around two years ago after finishing pastry school at the Pearson School of Culinary Arts.

In addition to cookies, she's an absolute master at decorating cakes, especially when using her hand-painting technique.
