There's nothing better than sinking your teeth into a crispy, juicy, tender piece of fried chicken when you really get a craving. And Montreal's newest fried chicken spot, Le Coq Frit, has totally got you covered.

Known as your newest "Best Fried," this new chicken in town should totally be on your radar the next time you're looking for some fried chicken.

It just opened this week, too, so it's still a spring chicken. But it's packed with flavour and chilled vibes to make it one of the coolest spots in the city.

So, yeah, you could say it's a little cocky...

You Can Get Some Serious Fried Chicken

As you can probably imagine, this place takes fried chicken seriously.

You'll get some of the "freshest, crispiest, juiciest fried chicken you can find in town guaranteed," according to the website.

Combos come in two-, three- and four-piece, with salad, fries and a drink.

There's also chicken tenders, popcorn chicken and chicken wings available in five wings (not enough, apparently), ten wings (getting there) and 20 wings (a good choice, says the menu).

As for sides, you can get coleslaw, macaroni salad or potato salad and fries (and not to worry, salt and pepper are included, the team wants you to know).

It Has Old-School Diner Vibes In A Modern Setting

You'll be smiling from ear to ear just by being in the restaurant.

Not that you're not already ecstatic to be eating fried chicken.

This place is decked in bright yellow, with a retro diner feel.

Nothing says sunshine quite like yellow and some good ol' fried chicken.

Plus it's got a totally cool island running through the middle. Because nothing makes Montrealers feel at home quite like being on an island.

You'll get some absolute nostalgia, but feel like you're in one of the trendiest and most modern spots in the city.

There Are More Locations Coming Soon

When something's this good, you want more, more, more.

Although this location just opened, according to the site, there are two more coming soon: Mile-End and Côte-Vertu.

Plus, there's already one in Chinatown.

So no matter where you are on the island, your "best frieds" have got you covered.

For now, it's totally worth the trip downtown.

And while it's just opened, we can already tell the Le Coq Frit is going to take Montreal by storm.

Or shall we say, it'll fry the competition?
