In August 2020, Airbnb announced a "Global Party Ban," which set the maximum capacity inside a property at 16 people.

Parties are also banned on all listings.

And this one had 83 people...

According to the company, "We acknowledge that there will always be those who attempt to break the rules. This is why we’ve implemented steep consequences for hosts or guests who try to skirt them – including bans from our community and even legal action."

The party in question also occurred a day before Quebec Premier François Legault announced that lockdowns in red alert zones will be extended until November 23.
