If you're walking through Ville-Marie, watch out for any banana peels... or turtle shells. A video captured in December of last year shows someone Mario Karting through downtown Montreal.

The video taken by Instagram user unapologetically_val shows the toy car rider zooming down boulevard Robert-Bourassa at around 1:25 p.m.

It looks like they even throw some objects on the road.

The identity of the real-life Nintendo game player is unclear, but Instagram user parkourporpoise posted a photo and story showing someone dressed as Mario alongside a pink toy car.

MTL Blog reached out to parkourporpoise for a comment and will update this article when we get a response.
