A Pic Of Céline Dion In A Vegas Golden Knights Uniform Has Quebecers Panicking

Seems like they tried to steal our Queen from us... 👑
Contributing Writer

The Vegas Golden Knights decided to troll the Montreal Canadiens in game five of the playoff semifinals. The American team decided to "invite" Céline Dion dressed in the Nevada team helmet and jersey. And one thing is for sure: Quebecers we're not happy about it.

Before the start of the game, an image of Céline Dion appeared on the giant screen of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, visibly dressed in the colours of the Golden Knights.

Editor's Choice: A Petition To Fire An NHL Ref Following The Habs' Game 4 Loss Has Over 26,000 Signatures

It wasn't long after the image of Queen Céline was shown for social networks to go wild.

Quebecers seemed surprised about the image. The singer has remained silent about her choice between supporting Las Vegas, where she currently lives, or the Habs, her homeland team.

Fortunately for CH fans, several people, including the journalist and specialist in "fake news", Camille Lopez, revealed that after some verification, it was just a photo montage. The original image is said to be from 2007 and is taken from her album Taking Chances

Naturally, the Céline stunt plus losing to the Habs on Tuesday night left Las Vegas feeling the heat.

Game 6 of the series between Montreal and Vegas will take place this June 24 at the Bell Centre.
