7 Spots In Montreal To Finally Split A Pitcher Of Sangria With Your Friends

Nothing says summer in Montreal more than sipping on sangria with your nearest and dearest friends. There's something refreshing about splitting a pitcher with your friends while enjoying each other's company. Knowing that this is a summer activity we're all allowed to do again, we took it upon ourselves to find some of the best sangria spots in Montreal.

We all feared that summer 2020 was going to be cancelled, but since the government reopened almost everything on June 25, it seems that summer has been saved.

Winter in Montreal is beautiful but let's be real — it's really, really cold.

And, when the heat of the sun starts to shine, we know first hand how great it is to spend our days and nights outdoors, with something cold to drink, of course.

Sangria is the perfect summer drink because it is sugary, tasty, and full of booze and it also pairs perfectly with your best friend as you gossip.

Winters are for spilling the tea, but summers are for spilling the sangria.

Cheers your friends at one of these seven spots below!

Terrasse Sur L'Auberge

Address: 97, rue de la Commune E., Montreal, QC

Not only does this spot offer stunning views of the city and the St-Lawrence River, but it also serves up some pretty delicious beverages.

For some reason, sangria tastes better when you're gazing at a stunning view with your bestie by your side.

Jack Astors

Address: 1820, ave. Pierre-Péladeau local FA01, Laval, QC

So this one may not be in Montreal, but it's worth the drive.

Jack Astors knows a thing or two about making sangria. They even have giant fishbowl cocktails for you and your BFF to enjoy.

William Grey

Address: 421, rue Saint-Vincent, Montreal, QC

Located on the rooftop of a hotel, William Grey is a great place to hang out and grab a sip or six of sangria.

With breathtaking views of Montreal and photogenic drinks, there's no reason why you and your best friend shouldn't enjoy this great local spot.

Jardin Nelson

Address: 407, Place Jacques-Cartier, Montreal, QC

Jardin Nelson is one of my go-to spots when I'm looking to enjoy some sangria with my nearest and dearest girls. The heated patio, gorgeous setting, and live jazz music pair perfectly with the amazing drinks.

Terrasses Bonsecours

Address: 364, rue de la Commune E., Montreal, QC

This amazing spot has been a staple during the months of summer since its opening and one of the many reasons is because of the fabulous pitchers of sangria that you can't help but love.

Address: 1455, rue Crescent, Montreal, QC

This well-known watering hole serves delicious bites, incredible drinks, and has one of the most loved terrasses in the city.

Found on rue Crescent, this spot creates some pretty great sangria pitchers, which is everything you and your bestie will need for a fun day in the sun.

Terrasse Nelligan

Address: 106, rue Saint-Paul O., Montreal, QC

Situated on the rooftop of the iconic Nelligan Hotel, this fantastic terrasse offers amazing food, great views, and even better drinks.

One of the most popular beverages is the clear sangria, and if you haven't tried it yet, you're in for a real treat.
