If you haven't already heard the news, May 28 marks the end of curfew in Quebec and the start of several reopenings around town. After a long pandemic year, Montrealers are super excited to get out and enjoy the city again.

But what is reopening in Montreal, exactly?

The Quebec government's gradual summer reopening plan is picking up. Along with the curfew ending, restaurant terrasses are allowed to reopen to the public. Restaurants can seat two adults with their minors from different addresses or parties from a single address. 

In addition, regional travel restrictions have been lifted so you can start planning your summer camping trip.

If camping isn't your thing, you can invite up to seven* of your friends to your place once again — for a total of eight people — so long as you all hang outside (in a yard or on a balcony) and practise social distancing. 

And finally, "big auditoriums, amphitheatres, indoor stadiums or outdoor stadiums or sites with pre-assigned seats will be authorized to present performances before a maximum audience of 2,500 people" (250 per section) according to health rules.
