Quebec Will Soon Allow 3,500 People At Shows, Festivals & Even Hockey Games

Live shows, festivals and hockey games in Quebec, as well as other sporting events, will be able to host 3,500 people as of June 17, according to a notice by the province's ministry of health and social services.

This means the Montreal Canadiens should be able to welcome thousands of spectators to the Bell Centre for home games during the rest of its series against the Vegas Golden Knights

The new occupancy limit will also apply to drive-in theatres in Quebec green zones, as well as to major events and festivals, which will be permitted to resume outdoors on June 25.

Except for drive-ins, audiences have to be divided into separate sections, each with a maximum capacity of 250 people.

Each section will have independent points of entry and exit, separate washrooms and separate food service areas.
