Montreal Has An All-New Beer & Poutine Terrasse Right Next To Parc La Fontaine

Your La Banquise dreams have been answered.
Contributing Writer

When you think of Montreal summer you probably think of three things: terrasses, beer, and poutine. Well if you've ever dreamed of bringing all three together, then your prayers have been answered: you can now enjoy some tasty brews with some of Montreal's best poutine thanks to the teams at Pit Caribou Pub and La Banquise.

Because nothing goes better than summer on a terrasse than a beer. And nothing goes better with beer than a poutine. And where's the best place to enjoy poutine? You got it — a terrasse.

Editor's Choice: UNIQLO Has Finally Unveiled The Opening Date For Its First-Ever Montreal Location

Located near Parc La Fontaine at the corner of rue Rachel and avenue Parc-La Fontaine, the terrasse first welcomed guests on August 11 and will stick around until the end of September.

Considering how hot this summer's been, we wouldn't be surprised if we were still having heatwaves then.

The terrasse is open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Yep, whether it's poutine or beer that you're craving before noon, you know where to go.

The best part is, you don't even need a reservation.

All you have to do is show up and be seated by the team.

And no — you won't have to wait in the long line at La Banquise... although we all know that it's always worth it.

Because it's table service at this beer garden. With only so much summer left, we want as much time on the terrasse as possible.

You'll be served by both teams and although you don't have to order both, if you do, just know that you'll get a receipt from each when you settle up.

But we're definitely willing to do that for some of Montreal's finest.

Since it's outdoors, you won't need to wear a mask. But don't forget to bring one since you'll need to put it on to go to the washroom inside.
