One of the coolest parts about the Montreal restaurant scene isn't just the amazing food, but the amazing vibes, too, like at one of the newest spots coming to the Plateau-Mont-Royal, La Petite Dînette.

This place may be called "petite," but don't let that fool you — It's bursting with big-time heart and soul, especially with its blend of '50s, '60s, '70s, and '80s decor.

And, of course, you can't have a diner without a jukebox to keep the tunes coming all day long.

As for the menu, La Petite Dînette offers a unique take on diner classics, with influences from Asian cuisine and a Québécois flair.

If you want to try something new, you can get things like bubble tea, fruit lattes and Vietnamese coffees to combine the old-school spot with Eastern cuisine.

We have a feeling it won't be staying too "petite" for long and might just be Montreal's next big thing...

La Petite Dînette

When: Opens March 8

Address: 4186, rue Saint-Denis, Montreal, QC

Why You Need To Go: For food as fun as the unbelievable, retro vibes.
