You Can Get Your First Vaccine Dose Without An Appointment In Downtown Montreal

A no-appointment vaccination centre is opening up in downtown Montreal at Palais des Congrès.
"A few hundred" spots will be open daily to people in "priority groups" who want to get their first vaccine dose, according to a tweet from the CIUSSS Centre-Sud.

These spots will be open on a first-come-first-served basis and will be available to priority groups 25 and older.
Priority groups include individuals working in health and social services, vulnerable people, seniors with a loss of autonomy, people with chronic health problems, and people living in isolated communities, according to the INSPQ.
The vaccination centre will administer Pfizer and Moderna doses and is officially open as of Thursday, May 13.
