The Quebec-Ontario Border Is Officially Reopening This Week

Deputy Premier Geneviève Guilbault has announced that the Quebec-Ontario border is reopening this week.
"On Wednesday, our border with Ontario will reopen. We are counting on the collaboration of Ontario visitors so that they comply with the health rules in force in the various zones of Quebec," Guilbault wrote in a Twitter post.

The Quebec-Ontario border was closed in April after both provincial governments agreed to stop interprovincial travel for a short time to limit the spread of COVID-19 variants.
The 14-day isolation requirement for Quebecers coming home from Ontario will also be lifted, according to a press release.
Moveover, Ontarians will be able to eat in Quebec restaurants, according to regional health rules.
The border will be open as of June 16, 2021.
