The Quebec-Ontario border was closed in April after both provincial governments agreed to stop interprovincial travel for a short time to limit the spread of COVID-19 variants.

The 14-day isolation requirement for Quebecers coming home from Ontario will also be lifted, according to a press release.

Moveover, Ontarians will be able to eat in Quebec restaurants, according to regional health rules.

The border will be open as of June 16, 2021.
