A new Statistics Canada graphic shows how cannabis use in Canada changed from 2018 to 2020 — and, apparently, Quebec is the least stoned province in the country.

Just 11% of Quebecers ages 15 and older reported using cannabis in the three months leading up to StatCan's survey of cannabis users in Canada between 2018 and 2020.*

Quebec also saw no change in cannabis use between 2019 and 2020, despite mass COVID-19 lockdowns and a curfew.

Nova Scotia took the crown for the highest percentage of cannabis use in Canada with 27%, and British Columbia ranked second at 25%.

Quebec Premier François Legault reacted to StatCan's findings in a tweet, calling Quebec's low cannabis consumption "good news."
