Since public health officials asked everyone who went to a bar in July to go get tested for coronavirus, some of Montreal's COVID-19 testing clinics have been overwhelmed with visitors.

Now, a new testing site is opening in the borough of Outremont. The CIUSSS Centre-Ouest shared the news in a Facebook post.

The news comes after health officials promised to improve waiting times for people seeking a test.

Footage shared with MTL Blog this week showed a line stretching down the block at the testing site at the former Hôtel-Dieu hospital.
