When it comes to food festivals across Montreal, foodies can dive into countless events year-round including Happening Gourmand, the acclaimed culinary fair, which is currently taking place this month.

A slew of Old Montreal restaurants are participating in the foodie fest this year, offering three-course table d’hôte dinner menus priced at $39, $49, or $59 every day of the week.

Happening Gourmand kicked off at the start of March and Montrealers have two more weeks to enjoy delectable dinners in the Old Port, all at an affordable price.

A total of 10 restaurants in Old Montreal are taking part in the food festival. Bevo Bar + Pizzeria is offering a three-course meal for $39, while Méchant Boeuf, Vieux-Port Steakhouse and Jacopo are all offering the table d'hôte experience for $49.

As for the $59 dinner, Montrealers and visitors alike can opt for Montreal restaurants such as Maggie Oakes, Modavie, Kyo Bar Japonais, Brasserie 701, Gaspar, and Pincette.

In addition to Happening Gourmand's mouthwatering dinner spots, you can also opt for a Saturday or Sunday brunch at any of the participating restaurants listed above except Kyo Bar Japonais and Bevo Bar + Pizzeria. You can dive into a two-course brunch menu with options such as eggs Benedict, avocado toast, classic homestyle potatoes and more.

For those who are in a more festive mood, a boozy brunch option, where bottomless mimosas are provided, is also available at many of the Happening Gourmand restaurants.

Reservations can be made on the Happening Gourmand website or directly through any of the 10 participating restaurants of your choosing.

Bon appétit, Montreal.
