Quebec Has A New Winter Pickleball Spa Where You Can Freeze Your Paddles Off In Style

North America's fastest-growing sport meets the masochistic wellness trend of cold plunging.

Quebec has just hit a curveball into the winter vacation game. The world’s first (and possibly last) winter pickleball spa is opening in the great Canadian wilderness and it’s exactly what it sounds like — a place for you and a friend to play some secluded pickleball in the snow, followed by a full relaxation experience.

The DinkDunk Pickleball Spa is the latest attraction for those who want to smack a pickleball over a net in a snowy setting, take a cold plunge into a natural riverbank, and then rush to a spa to defrost.

If you're worried about where to crash after all the dinking, dunking, and dashing — the package includes a three-night stay at a luxurious Le Germain property, ensuring that your pickleball dreams are matched with dreamy accommodations.

Guests are provided with complimentary DinkDunk merchandise, including bespoke slippers, robes, and paddles, ensuring they stay comfortable and stylish during their stay. They'll also be chauffeured from the airport to the spa in their very own private SUV.

Plus, the Nordic sauna and outdoor hot tub on-site offer a chance to thaw out and relax while pondering the unique decision to play a summertime sport in the opposite season.

For those unfamiliar, pickleball is like tennis, but with smaller courts, lower nets, and paddles instead of racquets. Canadian tennis star, Genie Bouchard, who just joined the professional pickleball circuit, might be partly to thank for this icy innovation. Her enthusiasm for the sport is likely inspiring others to try their hand at the game, even in the depths of winter.

Or maybe it's just that Quebecers know how to make the best of their long winters. Either way, the DinkDunk Pickleball Spa is here to offer a unique blend of sport and leisure.

For $4,715 per pair, you can secure a four-day, three-night stay that includes all the pickleball you can play, luxury spa treatments, and a taste of Quebec’s finest snacks and beverages.

It may be steep, but can you really put a price on the novelty of pickleball and pampering in a winter wonderland?
